Whether you’re in the mood for dim sum, noodles, orange chicken, or hot and sour broth, here’s our guide to 10 of the best places for Chinese food in Seattle. If you’re a fan of Chinese food, you’ll find no end of places to indulge your cravings, from unassuming little dumpling joints to world-famous hotpot chains and legendary fine dining establishments. nevertheless I would probably come back here for the culinary experience and that must be authentic City to the dishes because that place was filled with local Chinese.Seattle’s food scene is nothing if not diverse, boasting a vast array of restaurants dishing up cuisine from all four corners of the globe. According to some other posts and a cheap rating I would have expected to pay less. We drank their regular tea which was delicious and had a little plate of four little tarts.everything was delicious but I was confused about the final bill in the amount of close to $50 because that was no itemized bill and I could not figure out how much we were charged for the different items.

The duck skin was crisp and delicious and the meat was moist. I had half of a peking duck and my wife had the walnut shrimp from the menu. My wife and I tried one dim sun which where three dim sum balls filled with shrimp. not knowing the area I was little bit suspicious at first as I was walking up to the placebut I was pleasantly surprised when I was seated at a very clean and not too recently remodeled place. I'm definitely never coming here after noon ever again and if this is a trend I may stop coming at all.įollowing Google recommendations, i tried this place. There were 3 tables sat in the first 20 minutes we were waiting for our menus and or orders to be taken and they were included in the 12 tables I estimated. It isn't even like we all came at the same time. It is not unreasonable to expect basic decent service when each server only has 4-6 tables. There were 12 tables, max, between 3 servers and two visible support staff not counting the woman at the front desk. I'm not one of those jerks that has never worked a day in a restaurant, I have 7 years under my belt in all positions. My friends shut down this idea and we finally got someone to get us our bill but it was another 5 minutes. I even suggested that we just leave and if they wanted us to pay they would let us know. We finished our last dish and it took 15 minutes to flag someone down for the bill again. The food came out staggered, it's dim sum so that's expected. My friend wanted water as well so the whole charade for service started again and it took directly asking two people for water before they bothered to bring any. 5 minutes later they brought by the tea, almost half an hour with nothing to even drink. After 20 minutes I finally got someone to take our order but he was impatient and rude about it. I mostly knew what we were going to order I just needed the menu to be able to point and remember the names of everything. I had to go to the front to ask the girl who sat us, who was getting dressed for a delivery, for menus. Like, they were headed in our general direction and the moment I tried to make eye contact or raise my hand they would clearly see me but then act like something else caught their eye. We tried flagging down the staff but they really appeared to be making an effort to not even look our direction. We came in the late afternoon, they were somewhat busy but we were sat and waited 10 minutes without getting tea, water, or menus. My advice, go in the morning when they are still using the carts. The service the last two times I went, after coming here for years, is making me debate ever coming here again. The two stars are because the dim sum here is really good.
